I honestly almost never read privacy policies on websites, and I hate having to add this because I know that you probably won’t read it either. But I’m going to keep it short and minimize the “legalese” in the hope that you’ll actually read it…

When you visit this site, our website automatically logs certain information about the visit including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, along with information about your browser that allows us to personalize your visit. An example of this would be sending you a mobile version on our site so that it displays correctly on the device you’re using. We also use files called “cookies” to help us with web visitor analytics and to remember certain visitor preferences.

We also collect information about you when you sign up for our email newsletter, such as your name, email address, your location, your IP address, and other information that could be used to personally identify you (Personally Identifiable Information or “PII”). We may automatically transmit this information to the third-party service provider, such as Aweber, to facilitate our ability to communicate with you. This data is protected by their respective privacy and data protection policies. We will never sell, rent or share your email address with third-party marketers.

We use third-party providers to provide services like website analytics, affiliate marketing, link tracking, and other standard industry services.

We do not request, accept or store financial information like credit card numbers, social security numbers, date of birth, PIN numbers, security codes, or end-user passwords on any server directly under our control. We do link to, and sometimes receive an affiliate commission from, services that do collect this data and they maintain their own privacy policies.

If our website is sold or acquired in the future, information under our control may be transferred to the new owner. We will notify you in advance of this and give you the option to exclude your PII from this process.

We  are located in the United States and may be required to disclose your PII if required by law.

Your information will be retained for only so long as required to provide service to you.

If you would like to stop receiving emails from us, please use the “unsubscribe” option at the bottom of each message.

If you have other questions, please contact us.
